Hi folks.

I’m Neil - a 30something year old IT geek, currently living in the West Midlands.

Like many, I’ve spent most of my life regarding politics as something best ignored - it’s only depressing, and better minds than ours take care of it. Just turns up and vote every few years, or not, and job done.

For me - again, like many - things changed between 2001 and 2003. I watched as we were dragged into a war that I believed not only to be wrong, but against majority public opinion. Like many, watch is all I did. Since then I have sought to educate myself about national and international politics, question what I read and see, and, at least, get a little more involved.

This blog is one aspect of me doing just that. I can’t promise that what I write will be at all times correct, or even good. But it will be honest opinion. I may even change my mind on a few things, if and when I’m proven to be wrong.
